january in the studio
This month has been a time for restocking the studio with fresh batches of all our formulas post-holiday, as well as taking care of a few housekeeping tasks, like doing the inventory. So many tiny glass bottles full of treasure to account for! In between, I’ve been squeezing in a few formulation experiments, as well as a bit of reading. And of course, thinking about the gardening season ahead and placing seed orders.

pouring a fresh batch of our rosy lip tint

pouring a cup of sunshine, in the form of a very special limited-edition batch of lemon verbena tisane
making up samples of our forest tea, an earthy, smoky, woodsy blend that’s perfect for the season
one of the many bunches of carnations I’ve been keeping around the studio this month, easily found around the neighborhood during the Lunar New Year celebrations, and the inspiration behind our Grand Street botanical perfume
Until next time,
